Join Assistance League of Los Angeles ("the League") on Saturday, July 27th from 10:00am-1:00pm for a fun, family-friendly volunteer event at our Chapter House:

  • Help organize and pack new school supply donations from our monthlong school supply drive
  • Learn how to get involved with Assistance League of Los Angeles
  • And enter for fun giveaways!

ALL ages, families, groups, and individuals are welcome to participate in this FREE volunteer event but must register in advance!

PLEASE NOTE: School supply donations will only be distributed to children via Assistance League of Los Angeles programs after the event. Event attendees will not receive school supplies for personal use.

"SUPPLIES FOR STUDENT SUCCESS" SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE: Choose any of the options below to help children from preschool to college start their school year with confidence!

  • Saturday, July 27th: Bring NEW and UNOPENED school supplies to Assistance League of Loas Angeles, located at 6640 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028. ITEMS MOST NEEDED: brand new rulers, pencil sharpeners, erasers, coloring books, pencils, pens, colored pencils, markers, notebooks, folders, 1" or 3" binders and pencil pouches or cases.
  • Donate Funds by selecting Family Day of Service. Funds will be used to replenish school supply items year-round.
  • Host a donation bin at your company, school or organization. Contact Kai Tramiel, Sr. Director of Membership and Community Engagement at ktramiel@assistanceleaguela.org or 323-545-4847.

Investing in children by providing new school supplies has been shown to boost self-esteem, foster social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and academic development, and improve school attendance and performance. Your support will help children from the cradle to the class of 2025 return to school with confidence.
