Alameda County CalWorks participants are cordially invited to attend a 1hour orientation to learn about the Alameda County Medical Assistant.
The Alameda County Social Services (ACSSA) Medical Assistant Program is a public-private partnership between The Unity Council and ACSSA. The program leverages the resources of County’s social safety net with the workforce expertise and wraparound services of The Unity Council by providing Career Readiness activities, Medical Assisting Clinical Training, MA Certification academic support, Internship and Job Placement to eligible and active CalWorks recipients.
For those who would like to immediately apply, you will be given a link to the online application. Please be prepared to schedule an in-person English and Math Assessment at our offices and take a headshot photo as part of the application process.
