Cooperative Ecosystems

MAS Context is a Chicago-based not-for-profit organization that addresses issues that affect the urban context. We do so through publications, various types of public events, and installations. Each publication delivers a comprehensive view of a single topic through the active participation of people from different fields and different perspectives who, together, instigate the debate.MAS Context is partially supported by private donations.

Nowadays, networks of infrastructures (production, energy, culture, housing, care, economy…) have challenged the pre-established protocols of urban transformation, starting with the role of the architect and the political dimension of the discipline.
