Come discover the skill of preserving your own foods in this pressure canning class designed for 14- to 18-year-olds. Youth will learn the basics of pressure cooking. We’ll start with an appetizer and work our way to dessert.


Due to the nature of the class, class size is limited to 16 youth. Hair must be pulled back, or in a cap, and closed-toed shoes are required.


Materials are provided in class. Must pay in advance before registration ends on July 12 at 5 pm. Cash or check is also accepted.


Youth must be 14 to 18 years old as of September 1, 2023, to participate.

NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events. Similar classes or events often are offered on future dates.
