Learn about food and nutrition education from the comfort of your home. Online classes are now available in English and Spanish through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program. EFNEP is a federally funded educational program conducted through the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service in North Carolina. For decades, EFNEP has been helping limited resource youth and families with children learn how to eat healthier meals and snacks, stretch their food dollars and reduce the risk of food-borne illnesses. After completing the six of the lessons you will receive a Certificate of Completion along with a kitchen skill builders kit.To be eligible for the series you must be the caretaker or parent of a child/children under 18. This program is open to Union county residents only.
