Cookie Decorating Class with Melanie!

If you're looking for fun monthly-themed cookie decorating, try this class in Santa Clara! This exciting decorating lesson is taught by a master baker, complete with plenty of freshly baked cookies to practice on.

It's on Saturday, April 13th, from 11am-1pm

Your instructor, Melanie, has worked at Michelin-star restaurants and has owned her own pastry business, so you'll learn from the best of the best! No experience is necessary to participate in this class, you'll learn all the basics to make delightful treats! Looking for dessert ideas for holiday parties? You'll learn all the skills to make professional-looking, and equally delicious, themed designs with royal icing!

These will make the perfect seasonal-themed cookies to share with loved ones or give as a gifts!

For 2024, here are the upcoming cookie workshop dates and themes!

• 01/13: New Year
• 2/3, 2/10 (two times), 2/14: Valentines
• 3/2: St. Patrick’s Day
• 04/13: Easter
• 05/5: Cinco de Mayo "Fiesta" theme
• 5/12: Mother’s Day "Bouquet of Flowers" theme

All materials and supplies will be provided. Just come with your enthusiasm and creativity! It's a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun, and celebrate the upcoming holiday!

- Beginner level, no skills required!

- Fresh royal icing and cookies will be made prior to the class

- Kids 3-7yr old are welcome (accompanied by a parent) (Parent/kid ticket for $60)

- 8yrs and up need an individual ticket

About Instructor Melanie!

Melanie has been a professional baker for over a decade and is the owner of Melanie’s Cookies, a local custom sugar cookie business in Santa Clara.

She has enjoyed baking since childhood and enjoys passing her love and knowledge to others by teaching.

After culinary school, her career has taken her from fine dining restaurants, to corporate dining for LinkedIn, to owning/operating her own specialty cake and dessert business! Currently she is focusing on her custom sugar cookie business, Melanie’s Cookies and teaching decorating classes.
