Conversations in Colour

Conversations in Colour

Overview

Experience the fusion of colour, form, and words in Margo Cooper's abstract figurative paintings.

The abstract figurative paintings in this new exhibition by Margo Cooper encourage individual interpretation and emotional response, with titles that suggest themes without prescribing meaning. The show's title, Conversations In Colour, reflects both the vivid palette and an invitation to viewers to converse with the art, each other and members of the Gage Gallery's 21 artist collective. To deepen this engagement, a writing area encourages visitors to share their reflections either publicly or privately.

Opening Reception Thursday, June 4, 6-8 pm

Inspired Writing Night Tuesday, June 16, 7-9 pm

Margo firmly believes in the enriching power of art and wants everyone to have a chance to experience the transformative effects of creativity. She now paints full time in her upstairs studio at the Gage Second Story and guests are always welcome. Book ahead at margocooper@shaw.ca or take a chance and ask if she's in when you're visiting the gallery.
