The Microlab Academy is a platform, where people come together to share knowledge, gain inspiration and get to know new people. Workshops, courses, and seminars are offered within Microlab.

***Dutch below***<h2>Conversation class</h2>!! You are welcome to come between 09:45-10:00h. In that case, we can start the classes at 10:00h. !!In this “Dutch Conversation” workshop, internationals can improve their Dutch language skills, by means of group conversations about themes. We work in level groups: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. See <a href="https://incompany-dutch.nl/en/dutch-language-levels/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a> what your level is!In this workshop, you will practice with other internationals on your conversation skills. You will be surrounded by international and Dutch volunteers who will help you better your Dutch. You will be divided into groups with different levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.What to expect?We start with a classroom introduction to the theme of the day. After that, the participants will talk about the theme in small groups of the same level of Dutch-speaking. Each group is accompanied by a Native Dutch Speaking volunteer, who helps the participants with great enthusiasm and understanding. In this way, a relaxed, educational morning is guaranteed. She does this with volunteers and she has offered these classes on different locations like TU/e and the Hub. Jessie has worked as a teacher at an elementary school and works now as a wedding official. She started these Conversation classes because she believes that the Dutch community needs internationals to strengthen the economy and enrich the culture. Therefore it is important for internationals to feel at home in the Netherlands. Jessie loves to help them feel at home. Minimum participantsNote: The workshop only takes place with a minimum of six participants.If there are not enough participants 48 hours before the start of the workshop, we have the right to cancel the workshop and ask you to choose a new time.***Dutch***<h2>Conversatie les</h2>!! Zorg dat je tussen 09:45-10:00u aanwezig bent. Dan kunnen de lessen om 10:00u beginnen. !!In deze workshop, bestemd voor expats, wordt “converseren in het Nederlands” geoefend d.m.v. gesprekjes over thema’s. We werken in niveaugroepen: beginner, intermediate en advanced. Dit is opgezet voor internationals die in Nederland wonen en graag de taal willen leren. Iedere les komen er andere onderwerpen aan bod. Ook zijn de groepen verdeeld in verschillende niveau&#x27;s: beginner, intermediate en advanced. Wat kun je verwachten?Na de klassikale introductie van het thema worden de deelnemers verdeeld in groepen op basis van niveau. Elke groep wordt begeleid door een Native Nederlandse vrijwilliger, die met veel enthousiasme en begrip de deelnemers vooruit helpt en zorgt voor een ontspannen, leerzame ochtend. Dit doet zij samen met een aantal vrijwilligers en ze heeft deze classes al op verschillende locaties mogen organiseren. Zowel bij de TU/e als de Hub. Jessie heeft gewerkt als leerkracht op de basisschool en is nu werkzaam als trouwambtenaar. Ze is deze Conversation classes begonnen omdat ze vind dat de Nederlandse samenleving internationals nodig heeft om de economie te versterken en om de cultuur te verrijken. Het is dus belangrijk dat de internationals zich thuis voelen in Nederland. Ze vind het enorm fijn om daar een bijdrage aan te kunnen leveren. Minimale aantal deelnemersDe workshop gaat door bij tenminste zes inschrijvingen. Als we 48 uur voor aanvang van de workshop minder dan 6 inschrijvingen hebben, hebben wij het recht om de workshop te annuleren en jou te vragen een nieuwe tijd te kiezen.
