Who are the participants in Convergence?

Participants are change makers including but not limited to socially minded investors, systems thinkers, philanthropists, policymakers, systems change activists, entrepreneurs, private sector professionals, innovators, non-profits, ecosystem enablers, educators, and journalists.

What time zone is the conversations held in?

You can choose to join the conversation at 9:00 AM  or 7:00 PM EST. However, the time options may change if paticipants prefer a certain time. The dates will not change.

What if the time options are not feasible for me?

Given our global audience, we have attempted to schedule sessions at times that accommodate participants across various regions. If we get significant registrations from a specific time zone, we will adjust the schedule accordingly to accomodate. We thank participants for their understanding.

What platform is used for the conversations?

The conversations are held on Zoom. You will receive details on how to join conversations closer to the event.

How long does each conversation last?

Each conversation will last for 90 minutes.

Simply register using the provided link. Our team will reach out to you to learn about your interests so that we can curate a customized program for you.

Will I get to network with other participants?

Yes! One of the objectives of Convergence is to bring different fieldbuilders together. We will provide you with details on how you can engage with other participants.

Where can I gain additional information on Convergence XXI?

This page will be regularly updated so please check the site often. Additionally, we will send you emails about key updates, and you can check Criterion Institute’s website for additional resources as well.

Will I participate in all the conversations?

Accepted Answer

Each participant will attend a total of 11 Conversations in the course of the four weeks. You will receive unique schedule and will be assigned to conversations that align with your interest. We also try to ensure that you meet different people in different conversations.

Can we have an in-person convening?

Accepted Answer

Recent iterations of Convergence have been online as it  creates more inclusiveness and allows us to convene for a month. But, given the high interest,  during Convergence XXI we will discuss the possibility of a future in-person convening including details such as location, host, sponsorship etc.
