On Friday night, students will check in and settle into their rooms. The following two days will be fully dedicated to training. This two-day Special Forces-led program is designed to develop safe, capable, and confident armed professionals and responsible citizens through structured, progressive firearms instruction. Students will build a strong foundation in both pistol and rifle operations, emphasizing accuracy, weapon handling, decision-making, and performance under stress. This is not a casual range session—this is performance-based training built on real-world application.
Training Objectives
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Safely and efficiently operate pistol and rifle platforms
Establish and confirm proper zero for both weapon systems
Deliver accurate fire at varying distances
Perform reloads and clear malfunctions without hesitation
Engage multiple targets with control and efficiency
Move and shoot with stability and awareness
Utilize various shooting positions and cover effectively
Maintain composure and decision-making under pressure
Day 1 – Pistol Fundamentals & Performance
Day 1 focuses on building a strong pistol foundation and progressing into performance-based drills.
Key Areas of Instruction:
Pistol zero confirmation
Fundamentals of marksmanship (grip, sight alignment, trigger control)
Draw stroke and presentation from holster
Controlled pairs and recoil management
Malfunction identification and immediate action
Emergency and tactical reloads
Target transitions and multi-target engagement
Shooting cadence and shot accountability
One-handed shooting (strong and support hand)
Intro to movement while shooting
Students will leave Day 1 with improved confidence, control, and consistency with their handgun.
Day 2 – Rifle Application & Movement
Day 2 expands into rifle operations, emphasizing distance management, movement, and positional shooting.
Key Areas of Instruction:
Rifle zero confirmation (25m / 50m validation)
Ballistics fundamentals and holdovers
Ready positions and efficient presentation
Multi-target engagement and transitions
Shooting at varying distances (depth)
Lateral and directional movement drills
Positional shooting (standing, kneeling, seated, prone)
Shooting from cover and barriers
Non-dominant side shooting
Applied drills integrating multiple skill sets
Students will leave Day 2 with a working understanding of how to apply a rifle in realistic
environments.
