Control + Art + Delight

NYC Resistor is a hacker collective with a shared space located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. We meet regularly to share knowledge, hack on projects together, and build community. Our interests range from laser-cutting to knitting, and programming to pop-up books.All NYC Resistor events are strictly 18+, and attendees are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct, which can be found at https://www.nycresistor.com/participate/.

An art show featuring a collection of projects that are creating a portrait of the now and capturing this specific moment in time.

Join us for an exhibition of thesis projects from members of this year’s graduating cohort at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. These interactive multimedia works explore how art can help us navigate life’s glitches and reboots. Each piece offers a unique perspective on the parallels between our social interactions—both digital and physical—and our most interior desires.
