A Contracts Course for Non-Lawyer Colleagues of RTAC-ACC Members
Please join us for a half day of learning. The course takes the attendees from the basic definition of a contract through the 4 elements of formation. It then addresses the different types of contracts including written, oral, illusory and implied, and discusses the concept of promissory estoppel. It finishes with a discussion of contract breach and damages illustrated by an actual case study. The course is highly participative. It has always been well received and to keep it interesting, it is surprisingly amusing.
The day will begin with a full breakfast from 7:30AM-8:30AM.
The course will run from 8:30AM-12:30PM with 2 full breaks.
