ARE YOU LEAVING MONEY ON THE TABLE!?

When a new Wage Determination is incorporated into a federally funded project, Contractors are entitled to a price adjustment for increases in the prevailing wage and fringe benefit rates. In this Virtual Course, we will provide an overview of how to prepare and submit a Price Adjustment request to Contracting which allows your company to recover the increased rate costs which must be passed on to covered service employees for Service Contract Act (SCA) compliance requirements.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

When a SCA Price Adjustment is allowed and the time frame for submission of that request

  • We will guide you in understanding how to identify when your company is entitled to an SCA Price Adjustment and the window of opportunity to submitting a price increase proposal, and if needed, how to properly request and receive an extension of time for future submission of a price increase request.

Which increased costs are allowable in an SCA Price Adjustment request

  • In addition to identifying which costs are properly eligible for a price adjustment, you will also get insight on the type of supporting documentation required by Contacting thereby reducing your changes of having the request denied.

When an increase of wage or fringe benefit rates must be paid to a covered service employee

  • We will explain in detail when an employer must begin paying the new hourly rates to covered service employees. Is it before or after the employer receives the price adjustment increase from the government?

Perform ACTUAL Price Adjustment Exercises

  • You will be given hands-on materials and real-life examples to put to practice immediately what you have learned!

AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!
