Learn the basics of growing vegetables in pots, including site selection, possibilities for pots, making potting mixes and choosing what to grow for spring, summer and fall enjoyment. Participants will receive one starter seedling and plans for a simple self-watering container. Snacks and drinks provided with admission! Grow Pittsburgh memberships will be offered at an exclusive discounted rate of $20 if you sign up at the event. Register in advance for a chance to win a cedar planter as part of the Plant Something Day Sale at East End Food Co-op on Friday, May 19th. </SPAN></P>
