Greetings Clean Construction Committee Members! We are pausing the Clean Construction committee for April and May to take advantage of some strategy planning for this committee through 2026. We are excited to re-launch in June with a preview of the Contractor’s Commitment v3 deployment and we will also discuss insights from our May green building conference in Berkeley. The Construction Committee provides a space for collaboration to advance sustainability in construction for California through education, leadership, and equitable access to resources.The materials that make up the built environment are responsible for a significant chunk of the world’s carbon emissions. Leading the way, both in carbon emissions and in necessity, is concrete with cement being at the core of it.Please note - committee meetings are now $10 for non-members of USGBC-CA, but they’re still free if you’re a current member!
