Conservation Reserve Program Workshop for Landowners and Farmers

Alabama A&M University and Alabama Cooperative Extension Service (ACES) will host an informational workshop for landowners and farmers interested in implementing conservation programs on their properties including cost-share programs. The workshop will be on June 22nd, 2024 from 9am to 11am at the Winfred-Thomas Agricultural Research Station in Hazel Green.

USDA representives from the Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) will talk about their program benefits and requirements.

Attendees will receive $40 to offset the cost of gas and time to attend the meeting. Refreshments will also be served.
