Conscious Spending

Find your people, Find your practice. We are a place where community and contemplation meet. No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region, and online through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. If you are opposed to sharing your lovely face, let us know and we'll do our best to avoid that. But, by using an event ticket you agree to let The Hive share your image in photo, audio, and video form. For Zoom classes we occassionally announce if we elecet to record- please let your host or faciliator know if you do not want to be recorded.)

Do you find yourself feeling deprived after you spend money? Would you rather feel rejuvenated and connected when spending money? With a few small changes you can transition from unconscious spending to conscious spending where your spending can leave you fulfilled and rejuvenated. This stand-alone class is second in a series of classes designed and co-facilitated by Liz Kitchell and Chris McLaren to help bring clarity and commitment to your personal money story. You need not have attended the prior Understanding Your Money Story class to benefit from this course.
Liz Kitchell has worked in the financial industry over 25 years, as an advisor, top-rated trainer and coach of financial professionals. She has worked with people from all walks of life, helping them forge their own unique paths to relieve financial stress and actualize fulfilling financial goals.Her unique talent is uncovering the emotions and stories behind the money. She has helped many individuals uncover their own stories to bring a new level of clarity to business and life goals.
Chris McLaren is the founder of Conscious Life Planning and Divine Energy Works. He is a Certified Financial Planner(R) with over 25 years experience helping individuals, families and businesses. As a Certified Enneagram Teacher and Trainer, Chris helps people to better understand themselves and others. In 2012 he began helping people to heal and feel better through Qigong and other energy medicine techniques. In 2017, Chris became a Registered Yoga Teacher(R).
