Conscious Leadership for Good Workshop @ SOCAP

Unlocking Your Inner Power to Create Good in the World: A workshop to create and deepen the connection with your “doing good through business” community peers by working together to learn how to be a more conscious, values-aligned leader.

As a collective, we will dive deep into the interdependent connection of our personal leadership to ignite collective action, thus creating sustainable impact — a holistic approach to creating greater good in the world through increasing your own personal capacity of “Me” to build a stronger team of “We” and ultimately make the world a better place.

In this half-day, highly interactive workshop we have been very intentional about providing the space for shared learning experiences, facilitated group connection exercises, and intimate 1 on 1 opportunities to create a more immersive learning experience and a greater connection to your community of leaders. In the workshop we will focus on:

  1. Insights into the fundamentals of becoming a more whole and conscious leader

  2. Processes and tools to create internal change in the workplace

  3. Engaging experiential exercises to connect and learn from one another’s journey

  4. Shared learning circles with fellow leaders on what’s worked and pitfalls to avoid

  5. A leadership framework to use to realize your full potential and that of your team

Background: The Foundations of Conscious Leadership for Greater Good.

Whether we are leading a multinational organization or are a team leader in a small, local company, the impact on the world we can have is only as great as our internal capacity to create it. Meaning, if we can cultivate the skills, inner-clarity, and compassion to understand the why behind our efforts to do good, then the authenticity of leading these efforts will create the highest impact and most long-term sustainable good we wish to see. In this workshop we will cultivate such a capacity, as well as the framework of how it will transmit to your workplace using the “Me” >> “We” >> “World” method.

The Process Includes immersive exercises that provide:

  1. New paradigms of thinking to get “un-stuck” on work or life ruts that get in the way

  2. Self-awareness exercises to clearly “see” how you are showing up

  3. Group feedback sessions to share challenges and get feedback in a helpful way

  4. Modern meditation techniques that are easy and can be used throughout the day

  5. Pillars or Conscious Leadership of presence, acceptance, and compassion

For those attending, it’s a given that we seek to use our business as a tool for good. But, what are the underlying drivers behind the leadership capacity needed to truly create meaningful and sustainable good in the world? Answer: Integrate. This is the foundation for our Me>>We>>World method for creating greater good. We start by integrating our leadership values with our workplace purpose, and then create a framework for purpose-driven efforts to create impact and the core drive to make this world a better place. And it all starts with “the self.” Your own way of being.

Getting clarity on the root of our authentic, values-driven leadership leads to the transformation everyone of us seeks… a transformation within ourselves, our workplaces, and our businesses.

Long-term Outcomes:

  • The highest and best version of you as a leader

  • Better sense of purpose at your work and meaning in life

  • Calm and ease to find the grace needed to have day to day joy in your work

  • Clarity on where to focus your energies and, for some, new direction for the business

  • Skills to more adeptly lead the next generation of talent

  • Capacity to better handle the stress, anxiety, and pressure amidst the chaos

  • Work-life balance for both you and your team

  • A greater perspective to help find your path to impact on the world

  • New friends and colleagues for the retreat and quite possibly, rest of your life.
