Connection Lab: Reno
Overview
Nuclear Fusion Network presents
Connection Lab: Operation Reno, NV
A community-building experience to help folks meet neighbors, build trust, and plant the seeds of village life
Come join us for a two-hour, first-come, first-serve gathering designed to help Reno locals connect in meaningful ways. Children are welcome—we’ll have a play area and volunteers in the room to keep kids occupied so adults can be more present to the experience.
We’ll begin with a short introduction to the Nuclear Fusion Network and our mission to help people intentionally build chosen family and modern “villages.” From there, participants will engage in activities like Chain Reaction (think “speed dating”… but for finding friends, mutual aid buddies, and chosen family), designed by social and relational experts to make connecting feel easier and less awkward.
Our Connection Lab events are intentionally neurodivergent-friendly and structured to support people who may find it difficult to meet others, while still encouraging everyone to take that brave step outside their comfort zone. We hold values of creating safe, inclusive space that lifts up queer, trans, non-traditional, and all marginalized voices.
Whether you’re seeking companionship, community support, or simply curious about how to live more connected, this is a space for you to start planting those seeds of belonging.
