Join 4 local influencers  as we explore the topic of Connection > Influence and how it relates to social media and mental health.

Social media can be damaging to our mental health as we constantly compare ourselves to celebrities, influencers, or peers, but it can also be an incredible tool for connection, both for brands and individuals. Connection &gt; Influence is a panel event featuring 4 panelists from the Twin Cities community:<ul><li>Sarah Edwards, CEO of Fashion Week MN &amp; creative marketing agency, Some Great People, and local influencer</li><li>Myka Dixon, TikTok &amp; Instagram influencer</li><li>Joe Coleman, former Bachelorette contestant and local influencer</li><li>Larissa Loden, CEO and Founder of Larissa Loden Jewelry</li><li>Maxine Britt, Founder of MX Apparel</li></ul>We will be exploring the topics of social media, influencer partnerships, and how we need to reframe how we think about and use this platform as it relates to mental health. We&#x27;ll discuss how connection should be at the root of our social media interactions and how we personally have dealt with the effects of social media on our mental health and day to day lives. You will also have the opportunity to shop an exclusive jewelry collection created specifically for this event in partnership between Larissa Loden and Sarah Edwards! A portion of proceeds from this event and the jewelry collaboration will be donated to Reclaim in honor of Pride Month. The event will also include complementary food &amp; drinks, a pop up from Reclaim with more info about their organization and opportunities to donate further.
