A Community Gathering in Support of Connection is the Medicine Foundation

As the days grow shorter, we invite you to an evening in the Peace Garden with warm tea, live music around the fire, and time to enjoy one another’s company.

Gather with friends and neighbors who care about this place and the community it serves. Together, we’ll hear stories from Connection is the Medicine programs and consider what becomes possible through generosity.

Come wander the labyrinth, enjoy live music around the fire, sip something warm, and spend time with friends old and new.

The evening begins with a relaxed hour to arrive and explore. We’ll gather at 6 PM for participant stories and an invitation to support the Foundation, followed by a closing candle circle.

During the Evening

• Warm tea & welcoming faces - Settle in, say hello, and connect with your community.
• The Peace Garden labyrinth - Enjoy a self-guided walk for personal reflection and connection with nature.
• Music around the fire - Enjoy live music from local musicians as we gather together.
• Time for conversation - Catch up with friends and get to know others who care about the Foundation’s work.
• A closing candle circle - Gather in candlelight to share an intention for the well-being of our community.
  

The Evening’s Flow

5:00–6:00 PM | Arrive, Explore & Connect

Enjoy warm tea, fireside music, self-guided labyrinth walks, and relaxed conversation with friends and neighbors.

6:00–6:30 PM | Connection Changes Everything

Hear from people whose experiences bring the Foundation’s work to life, and learn how your support helps make opportunities for connection accessible to our community.

We’ll share an invitation to contribute to our annual appeal, Connection Changes Everything.

6:30–7:00 PM | Closing Candle Circle

We’ll close together in candlelight, sharing an intention for our community.

What Your Generosity Makes Possible

When practiced and lived, connection becomes a healing force. A teenager finds their voice. Someone rebuilding a life after addiction discovers support in relationship. Neighbors tending the Peace Garden find they are also tending one another.

Through youth programs, recovery and grief gatherings, caregiver support, scholarships, and free community offerings, the Foundation works to remove barriers to connection with self, community, and the natural world.

Our founders entrusted the True Nature campus to the Foundation. With the ground beneath this work already given, your generosity helps sustain these programs and welcoming spaces for our community.
