The Foster Care Bridge Program from the YMCA Childcare Resource Service of San Diego County would like to invite you to our community event where Caregivers and Resource Parents will have the opportunity to explore different ways to strengthen their knowledge in early childcare development. During this four-hour workshop, participants will learn the importance of positive interactions in children’s lives. Providers will learn how the brain develops according to our day-to-day interactions. You will have the opportunity to learn new ways of practicing and implementing self-care in your routine. We will show you how easy and effective well-designed self-care tools can be in helping you manage your emotions, maintain your clarity of mind, boost your energy, and keep you feeling both productive and fulfilled. Connecting with Bridge will allow us to connect through our own experiences and enhance the lives of all our children.
We will be offering two sessions on this day. The Spanish session will take place from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The English session will take place from 12:15 - 4:15 PM.
