Cardinal News is hosting a day-long conference at Roanoke College to delve into the unsettled issues surrounding cannabis in the commonwealth of Virginia.
Virginia may be the only state that has legalized possession of marijuana but still bars retail sales. Much confusion remains: What is or isn’t permitted, what will or won’t happen politically, what opportunities are there for businesses and workforce development and what does the science say cannabis does for the body and mind.
Cardinal News will bring in panelists to discuss the politics, the business and educational opportunities, the black market, and the effects of both medical and recreational marijuana during a day-long conference at Roanoke College. A welcome reception the evening before is being planned.
