About this event

Georgetown University Art Galleries and the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington invite you to the opening reception for "Confluences: Intersectional Visions of Italy".

The exhibition, hosted by GU Art Galleries at the Maria and Alberto da le Cruz Art Gallery and the Lucille M. & Richard F.X. Spagnuolo Art Gallery, explores issues of social justice connected to notions of Italy, which is far more complex than the single cultural, political, or social space it is commonly thought to be.

The artists showcased are: Dafne Boggeri, Valeria Cherchi, Giulia Crispiani, Maria Adele Del Vecchio, Alessandra Ferrini, and Muna Mussie.

Curated by Ilaria Conti. Exhibition organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington in collaboration with Georgetown University Art Galleries.

To join us for the evening, a registration is required.
