Toastmasters International is a US-headquartered nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of promoting communication, public speaking and leadership. Every Toastmasters club meeting is based around a set of organized speeches. Speakers are given feedback, often by a more experienced member, who then gives an impromptu speech with constructive feedback based on their performance.
Sierra Speakers Toastmasters is a local Toastmasters club established in 1984, based in the SoMa district of San Francisco, California. We help people at all levels improve public speaking skills in a supportive, positive, safe environment. Our members come from a diverse background but we are dedicated for a common goal: better communications from each meeting. Sierra Speakers has become one of the highly regarded clubs in San Francisco for our well-organized and consistent meetings.
