SOLD OUT: Concrete Casting Workshop

This spring create a unique piece to add to your outdoor space in our concrete casting workshop. Learn about the properties of concrete and discover best practices in mold making. In this workshop our experienced Shed staff will guide you through the process of mixing concrete and crafting your own mold using common household items. Then pour concrete to make a cast from your mold to take home. Plus, leave with extension activities for turning your cast object into a planter or tabletop fire pit. 
*Participants are encouraged to wear old clothing to this workshop. Cost is $20 per person. There is no member discount for our workshop programs. All supplies and museum admission are included. The workshop is designed for ages 10 and up. Anyone under 16 must participate with an adult, whom must also register. Advance registration and payment required.
