Cottonseed Studios

Concourse/south is a week-long music and arts festival to benefit O Grows, BigHouse Foundation and future arts programming in Opelika.  FULL SCHEDULE  below and for more info please go to http://concourse.live/ 
-SUPPER AND SONGS: Sunday, August 20, 6:30pm/O Grows community garden located behind the Southside Center for the Arts/1103 Gleen Street, Opelika/Featuring Chef Graham Hage from Zazu/Musical performance by Martha's Trouble/Proceeds benefit O Grows and future arts programming.
-LIVE MURALS: Monday, August 21, 6:00pm/712 North Railroad Avenue, Opelika/Come meet RC Hagans and Paige Dirksen and watch as they do live murals in downtown Opelika.  Live music and community fabric dyeing
-An evening of workshops, installations, and music: Tuesday, August 22/712 North Railroad Avenue, Opelika.

<LI>Children’s workshop: Join us for an evening workshop with renowned folk artist Charlie Lucas. All children and young adults are welcome to learn how to make sculptures with found objects and wire! This event will take place in the railyard from 6pm-8pm. Event is hosted by Perch Jewelry Studio.</LI>
<LI>Community fabric dyeing</LI>
<LI>Artists installation - Art installation on the walls of Red Clay Brewery, 6 P.M. until close.</LI>
<LI>Opelika Songwriter's Night - Come hear some of what our area has to offer in the form of songwriting. Starts at 8pm at John Emerald Distilling Company.  Featuring Martha's Trouble, BB Palmer, Mark True, and Stephanie Jack</LI>

-Vinyl, coffee art, and a secret show: Wednesday, August 23/Sidetrack Coffee, 817 South Railroad Avenue.

<LI>Vinyl printing: Come record a song and get a 7" vinyl printed for you on the spot. Hosted by Tangible Formats and 10,000 Hz Records. This event will take place at Sidetrack coffee from 11am - 6pm.</LI>
<LI>10,000 Hz vinyl pop-up, 11am-6pm.</LI>
<LI>Barista throw down: Join us for an evening of latte art competition at Sidetrack Coffee, 6:30pm-8pm.</LI>
<LI>Secret show: End the day with a special "secret" guest performance, 8:30pm.</LI>

The concourse/south Artist and Maker’s Market: Saturday, August 26, 11am-6pm/712 North Railroad Avenue. This event is being hosted by Perch Jewelry Studio.
Vintage gaming in Red Clay Brewery provided by Almost Anything and CyberZone
Valet bike parking provided by James Bros. Bikes-If you bike to Concourse/south one Red Clay beer provided.
Yoga(8:30 am inside Red Clay Brewery)-Check out the InnerSunshine Yoga ticket!   
 
Food hall: Saturday, August 26, 11am-10pm/712 North Railroad Avenue. Do yourself a favor and come indulge in some real southern food! concourse/south wristbands are required to enter this area of the festival. 
 
Concert area: Saturday, August 26, 11am-2am/712 North Railroad Avenue. Come out for a day full of music featuring MARC SCIBILIA. Concourse/south wristbands are required to enter this portion of the festival. Hosted by Cottonseed Studios.
