Día de los Muertos originated with pre-Hispanic indigenous cultures, especially the Aztecs, who held month-long festivals to honor ancestors and believed death was a continuation of life. In this very important divisive time we encourage our community to come together, learn about culture and celebrate the dead and the living in unity. The intention of this event is highlight culture, history and music. Everyone is welcome to attend.
