Concerto Cheikh Fall / RedNiloData: domenica 6 aprile 2025Ora: 21:00Location: Chiesa di San Vincenzo Cheick Fall è un multistrumentista senegalese specializzato in djembe e kora. A soli 14 anni diventa djembe solista nell’ensemble “Bakh Yaye”. Nel 2007 inizia un'intensa collaborazione con la Banda di Piazza Caricamento, incide due dischi, Babelsound (2008), che vince nello stesso anno il premio ‘Suoni di Confine’ con il patrocinio della Sezione Italiana di Amnesty International, Nu-town (2010) e collabora con Antonella Ruggero. Nel novembre 2011 fonda Kora Beat e dal 2013 partecipa in qualità di insegnante di djembe e kora al Festival Mama Africa Meeting. Dal 2018 collabora con l’Orchestra Terra Madre di Slow Food RedNilo è un duo italo-marocchino composto da Reda Zine e Danilo Mineo, due musicisti residenti a Bologna legati da una profonda passione per le musiche del mondo, in particolare quelle di matrice africana. La loro continua e spasmodica ricerca musicale li ha portati a collaborare per oltre un decennio con moltissime esperienze artistiche e produzioni discografiche. Un viaggio tra il Desert Blues, l'Afrofunk e il Gnawarock. Il costo del concerto è relativo al tesseramento ad Altrovi per l'anno solare
