Concept Modeling CUSTOMIZED Seminar
PRESENTER: Winston Perez, Founder of Concept Modeling
As featured in the NY Times, Winston is the founder of this business/creative discipline behind perfecting ideas. He is the award winning author of Concerning the Nature and Structure of Concept. This workshop will explore how to leverage this new discipline to discover, model, breakdown and perfect your business, film, product or service.

His clients, past and present, include companies like Warner Bros., NBC/Universal Dreamworks, Relativity, Cineflix, and Interscope Records. He has also worked with companies like AEG, Paramount, LACBA, and hundreds of others.

DAY 1 - EVENING STARTER SESSION

Intro: C before E: Concept before Execution. Like a blueprint for a skyscraper, a perfected concept must precede execution if you want to increase your chances for success. We will use this evening to discuss the nature of concept and customize Saturday’s schedule.
             - What is the secret to perfecting your idea?
             - How to find the core and create value within an idea
             - How to use a concept modeling to avoid mistakes

What is Concept Modeling; Why it is the Missing Discipline. Everything, every business, every technology or even every film starts with an idea. Every great idea is built on concept. With a “perfected” concept in hand, you can successfully drive a clear path through execution, investor pitching, marketing, sales, to reach profits. That’s because one key to success is found in the perfection a concept underneath an idea, product or business. We will explore the nature of concept modeling, and its relationship to all other disciplines and your success.

DAY 2 - 9-4PM SESSION

Day 2, Part 1: How to do Concept Discovery on Your Idea, Film or Business. Perfecting your idea starts with a true discovery process. Here we learn how to capture, identify elements within your idea -- the ones you can see and more importantly, the ones that you can't see.
                - Case Studies / What they teach us
                - Q&A / Application of the answers
                - Concept Modeling Principles

Day 2, Part: Perfecting Your Idea using a Concept Model. Perfecting something involves deeper analysis than one might expect. Here we develop the framework for doing that work. This is the blueprint within your idea that leads to innovation; it lays out your idea and the path to perfecting it.
               - Customized training on concept modeling your project or business
                - Concept Modeling training

Phase 2: Execution Modeling - Tooling. Here we look at execution modeling or "tooling," -- all part  of the modeling process. This includes ways and modeling techniques to implement and execute on discoveries made.

                - Case Studies/Examples
                - What is Tooling?
                - Concept Tooling and Execution

Conclusion: We wrap of the day with questions and answer period -- along with a wrap up discussion on the nature and structure of ideas as it applies to your success.
