Nicys Firearms Instruction

<H2>Concealed Carry</H2>
Intermediate to Advanced Level
*Please read requirements, restrictions, refunds and credits below prior to registering to this class
*We Run a Cold Range
*Duration: 5 hours, 10:30AM - 3:30PM, Police Range# 1
*Description:
On the pistol range, students will go through a series of exercises to develop the skills necessary when using a firearm for personal protection outside the home. Students will learn to present a handgun to target from a holster, review the principles of concealed carry, proper use of cover, scanning, threat identification, moving then shooting, turning then shooting, shooting from kneeling, seating and prone positions, etc. We will review basic pistol shooting fundamentals and techniques, practice failure drills, malfunctions and much more.
**Requirements (see restrictions below): 
-Not a  beginners class: Student must have at least 6 months of trigger time, demonstrate good firearm safety knowledge, muzzle and trigger discipline. If you're not sure you have the minimum skills necessary to participate in this class, please contact us first prior to registration to arrange a free evaluation 
-Caliber Allowed: .380, 9mm, 38spl, .357sig, 10mm, 40mm and 45acp 
-Ammo Count: +/-300 rounds 
-Ammo Capacity: 3 semi-auto pistol magazines or 3 revolver speedloaders are recomended
-Eye and Ear Protection: A must, wraparound eye and electronic ear protection recommended
-Shooting Vest: Optional but recommended (vest, shirt, jacket, t-shirt, etc.) 
-Hat w/ Brim: Highly recommended 
-Weather: Check the weather and dress accordingly, we shoot outdoors. You'll be notified of any cancellations due to weather conditions.
-Food and Beverages: Soda/water available at the range for purchase, bring your own food or snacks
**Restrictions: No Exceptions! We take safety seriously, the safety of everyone is our # 1 priority! 
-Holster: Strong side OWB, IWB or AIWB only! Must cover the trigger guard, "No Serpa" style or soft materials will be allowed (if you need your fingers to holster, it's too soft) 
-We Run a Cold Range: If you arrive w/ a loaded pistol, keep it holstered and inform the RSO. Do not remove your pistol from a bag or holster, even if unloaded in the safety area, we’ll call you to the firing line to get your handgun ready.
-NYC Residents: No premises license allowed in Westchester County. If you have questions regarding your pistol license, please contact NYPD licensing division prior to registering for this class and ensure you are allowed to leave NY City with your handgun.
*Refunds/Credits: A refund will be granted, minus any processing fees, for requests made prior to the date of this class or for requests made within 24 hours of a cancellation by Nicys Ltd due to weather conditions. A credit will be automatically issued after 24 hours of the date of this class, if you missed it or if canceled by Nicys Ltd due to weather conditions. In order to apply your credit, you must call Nicys Ltd and book your next class or event within our 2016 calendar year.
