CS: Unplugged is a virtual workshop designed to explore computer science through hands-on activities that do not require computers. This workshop helps prepare computer science educators for times when access to machines is not available or to enforce a computational thinking concept. Participants will learn to facilitate activities while introducing computational concepts and vocabulary relevant for leading lessons. If the individual responsible for the original registration fails to notify ExpandED Schools of the cancellation, ExpandED Schools reserves the right to invoice the CBO for the per-person training cost.This training is made possible by funding from DYCD, and is available at no cost to the CBOs with which DYCD contracts. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value for DYCD.  If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for canceling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
