Chimera is Sonoma County's first non-profit community arts and makerspace, located in downtown Sebastopol at the old Ford Garage building across from The Barlow. We're a community of makers, artists, engineers and creatives of all types who love to share, learn and work together.We are located in a 3,000 sq.ft. facility with 4,000 sq.ft. exterior space at6791 Sebastopol Ave. Suite #180in downtown Sebastopol, California.Our facility includes space and tools for electronics, jewelry, 3D printing, laser cutting, metalworking, welding, crafts/textiles, woodworking and more!

We'll learn reasons why, get familiar with the parts of WordPress, and practice working with pages, posts, plugins, themes and more.We will work with your existing website, or create a free WordPress website for you in minutes. Based on your experience, we then spend a couple of hours learning about WordPress, how to make simple content updates, the basics of theme customization, and how to add some of the more than <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/" title="https://wordpress.org/plugins/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">59,000 free plugins</a> to add functionality such as ecommerce, contact forms, and search engine optimization. Intended for beginners and those who want to review the basics of how WordPress works.After checkout, a Zoom videoconference link will be sent to you. Prior to the class, download Zoom to your computer and test that your sound, video, and screen sharing work. The class will be interactive, so the more you're able to use your computer the more value you'll get from the class!Questions?
