Time to decorate your bikes, wagons, cars, and hats!
We are gearing up once again for the annual Compton Heights Easter Parade!! This is the 47th year of this fun parade for all residents of the neighborhood.
Staging for the parade will begin at 12:45 PM and the parade will start at 1 PM, at the Grand Point (numerical address of 3521 Hawthorne). The parade route will be Hawthorne (crossing Compton) to Russell, to Longfellow (crossing Compton) and meeting back at the Grand Point. The parade takes about 30-60 minutes.
All children must register for this event - please see details below.
The Easter Egg Hunt this year is back again this year, so each registered child will receive 10-ish eggs and get a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and take pictures.
If you have a convertible, classic, or special interest car you are welcomed and encouraged to drive it in the Easter Parade. There are still a few cars in the neighborhood that were in our first Easter Parade.

EASTER EGG HUNT REGISTRATION
- All children must be registered to participate in the Egg Hunt and receive eggs filled with goodies. Adults do not need to register (even if they plan to walk along with the kids in the parade).
- CHNBA Members = FREE per child (first five children are included in 2024 dues and for lifetime members). Quantity chosen should only indicate kids in family.
- Non-CHNBA Members = $5 per child. Quantity should only indicate kids in family.
