<h3>Event Description</h3><p>Ever heard of Bokashi? Come learn all about the power of this simple fermented composting process during Compostable&#x27;s 1-hour in-person workshops. These systems are great for people with small spaces who want to offset their food scrap footprint right at home with minimal effort.</p><p>We will have bucket systems on hand to learn how to layer the food scrap and inoculant correctly, what to do with the liquid byproduct, and how to turn the solids into soil. We will also do some DIY inoculation so you can reduce your need to purchase materials once you get started at home.</p>

<h3>Ticket Pricing</h3><p><strong>$30 Workshop Basic</strong>: includes day of hands on learning, take home instructions PLUS DIY inoculated product.</p><p><strong>$85 Workshop Complete</strong>: includes everything in Basic ticket PLUS 2 complete bucket kits to get started right away.</p><p><em>Tickets are limited based on each location's hosting abilities.</em></p>

<h3>A﻿bout Hosts</h3><p><strong></strong><a href="https://www.compostablela.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Compostable</strong></a><strong> </strong>is a women-owned company whose mission is to close the loop in our food systems by transforming former ‘waste’ into future nutrients, by encouraging environmental justice, and by providing transparency and education around food systems in Los Angeles.</p><p><strong></strong><a href="https://www.kindgrounds.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>K﻿ind Grounds</strong></a> is a coffee shop who invites their customers to be intentional with their consumption by making an incremental social and environmental contribution, through something as simple as a daily cup of coffee. They put this into practice in three ways: sourcing responsibly, donating a portion of our profits, and staffing through local job support organizations.</p>
