Overview

Make Leaf Mould with the Compost King!

Leaf mould creates the perfect habitat for pill bugs and beetles, who thrive in damp, fungal environments.

Join The Compost King for a hands-on workshop where we'll transform those brown leaves into rich, dark leaf mould—the ultimate soil conditioner and mulch for the upcoming hot summers.

$10 per family (NOTAFLOF: Your support goes to Compost Kin, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds). I will provide: The leaves, tools, and gloves.

About the instructor: Compost Kin is a Queer and Trans Social Group focused on community building and local cleanup efforts. We host monthly meetups at Sutter’s Landing Beach every 4th Saturday from 12–2 PM to pick up trash and connect with one another.
