LOCAL FOOD • COMMUNITY • EDUCATIONPocket City Farms is taking to neglected space in Sydney in an effort to make good of it – by growing fresh organic produce!Our urban farm is now open at Camperdown Commons on the former and abandoned Camperdown Bowling Club in Sydney's inner west.Our urban farm is a community hub where you can come and visit the productive ecological farm, get your hands dirty, take part in the community food forest and composting, bring your school or community group, and attend a range of workshops, events, farm chats and yoga classes.Please note: By attending events at Pocket City Farms you provide your permission to have photographs of yourself taken during the event. If you wish to avoid having your photo taken please speak to one of our staff at the beginning of the event.

Come along to a swift Saturday morning workshop for a run down of how to start turning 'waste' into a useable yield, and to get your compost pile pumping.

YOUR TEACHER Zag is our Farm Manager and a co-founder of Pocket City Farms. You can usually see him pottering around the patch in a floppy straw hat, harvesting and planning for future crops, getting our awesome vollies learning hard, and generally being a solidly great human. Zag knows the ins and outs of veg growing, one of the essentials being the ability to make enough of your own compost on site.
