Compassion Prison Project

The CPP Compassion Trauma Circles opens the door to healing and integrating our past into who we are today, bringing compassion to our core.

Thank you for registering for our Compassion Trauma Circle. You will receive preparation and login details approximately five days prior to the circle. If you find you are unable to attend, PLEASE be sure to unregister on Eventbright so your space becomes available for another attendee.

Compassion Prison Project hosts these circles to connect to the core of humanity that lives within us all. The circles aren&#x27;t always easy, but as one participant so perfectly put it, sometimes you need to break out the stinky fertilizer and spread it around to help the garden grow. Sometimes you start off not even sure what&#x27;s in that fertilizer bag. Sometimes you know it well. These circles are interactive. There are no spectators. This doesn&#x27;t mean you need to share or speak at all if you choose not to, but in the past some of said they thought they were attending as a witness to the circle. I will add that every one of them also said how powerful it was and how surprised they were by their own experience. We follow the format used in our <a href="https://compassionprisonproject.org/sitc/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Step Inside the Circle</a> video, successfully modified for Zoom, and we&#x27;ve expanded on it to add more healing modalities. Although we miss out on getting to sit face to face due to our current world health concerns, we gain immeasurably by having participants from all over the world join in. Compassion Prison Project is a non-profit organization. We bring our program (and many other services) into prisons and transitional houses at no charge, but there are expenses involved. For the sessions we offer to the general public, we ask for a ticket price of $20. However, if you are unable to make this financial contribution, please do not let that hold you back from joining us. Just send an email to training@compassionprisonproject.org letting us know you would like to receive a free entry and we will accommodate you. We look forward to taking this step with you!
