Compassion Prison Project

The CPP Compassion Trauma Circles opens the door to healing, compassion for self and others, and opens our hearts to give and receive love.

Compassion Prison Project hosts these circles to connect to the core of humanity that lives within us all. The circles aren't always easy, but as one participant so perfectly put it, sometimes you need to break out the stinky fertilizer and spread it out to help the garden grow. Sometimes you start off not even sure what's in that fertilizer bag. Sometimes you know it well. We follow the format used in our <a href="https://vimeo.com/groups/680878/videos/398088783" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Step Inside the Circle</a> video, successfully modified for Zoom, and we've expanded on it to add more healing modalities. Although we miss out on getting to sit face to face due to our current world health concerns, we gain immeasurably by having participants from all over the world join in. Compassion Prison Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We bring our program (and many other services) into prisons, transitional houses, and communities for free, but there are expenses involved. For the sessions we offer to the general public, we ask for an optional donation of $25, or whatever your comfort level can afford. If you are unable to make any financial donation, please do not let that hold you back from joining us. Everybody is welcome! Healing, wether giving or receiving or both, needs no price tag.
