Join us for a tour of Compass, a Pre-K through 5th grade public school, located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

<h2>Hello</h2><p>Compass Charter School will host several tours for prospective families for the 2025-2026 school year. We invite interested families to sign up for one tour. Tours are not required before applying for admission to Compass, yet taking a tour helps prospective families see our school model in action and to learn more about our school.</p><p>During Prospective Family Tours, families will be given the opportunity to learn about our progressive philosophy, intentionally diverse school model, and our inquiry-based curriculum. Prospective families will also take a tour of our learning spaces, including our classrooms and studios. Each tour will end with a question and answer session.</p><h2><br></h2><h2>Registration Required</h2><p>Registration is required to attend a tour. Please register for the number of adults who will attend. We limit the number of visitors for each tour. All visitors must sign up ahead of time and sign in at the school safety desk.</p><h2><br></h2><h2>Day of Tour Info</h2><p>Tours will begin promptly at  9:30AM and will end at 10:30AM.</p><p>All tours will begin in Room 429, which we call our Community Room.</p><p>On the day of the tour, please bring your ticket and a photo ID, which will be needed to enter the school building.</p><p>Please plan to arrive at 9:15AM to allow time to check in with school safety and make your way upstairs to the fourth floor. An elevator is available for those who need it.</p><h2><br></h2><h2>Tour Etiquette</h2><p>Please sign up for only one tour date and do your best to come to the tour you signed up for. If you plan to bring your partner or another grownup, please sign up for that person as well.</p><p><br></p><h2>Cancellation</h2><p>If you are unable to attend your schedueld tour, please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite and email Brooke (Co-Founder/School Leader) at brooke@brooklyncompass.org. Canceled tickets will be given to families on the tour waitlist.</p><p><br></p><h2>Tour Waitlist</h2><p>Tours often fill up quickly. We will offer additional tickets as they become available.</p><p><br></p><h2>Apply to Compass</h2><p>Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will open on October 14th, 2024. To be included in the lottery for the 2025-2026 school year, applications must be submitted by April 1st, 2024.
