Join us to help shape strategies for urban greening and open space preservation in Monterey as part of the General Plan Conservation/Open Space Element Update.The event runs from 6 to 8 and community members are welcome to drop in at any time during that period. There will be stations set up around the room where you can learn more about potential strategies for the project and share your thoughts.Conservation and Open Space Elements of a general plan provide a policy framework to guide the long-term protection, management, and use of natural resources, parks and open spaces. They are key chapters in the City's General Plan, that serves as the blueprint for balancing conservation and development in Monterey.
