Shoreline Tool Library

Got a collection of hole-filled socks you can't get rid of? Have you been meaning to set aside time for your latest alteration, but need some motivation? Come mend with us!Our Community Threads mending and sewing circle is a monthly event for anyone to work on their textile projects. Any textile craft is welcome! Honestly, any craft is welcome, but we will only be providing sewing supplies (at least at first). There will be sewing machines, fabric, thread and community, as well as hot tea.This will not be a class format, while there will be experienced menders present to offer advice and counsel, this is intended as a co-working space.Can't make it to this one? We plan to host it on the second weekend of each month: the second Sunday at the NE Seattle Tool Library and the second Saturday at the Shoreline Tool Library!ACCESSIBILITY: <ul><li>The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an all-gender restroom. The restroom is ADA compliant.</li><li>Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events, however attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.</li><li>Please contact us with any accessibility notes or requests. </li></ul>GETTING THERE:<ul><li>By transit: Served by King County Metro bus Rapid Ride <a href="https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/metro/routes-and-service/schedules-and-maps/e-line.html" title="https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/metro/routes-and-service/schedules-and-maps/e-line.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">E Line </a>on Aurora Ave N and N 165th.</li><li>By bike: The venue is located one block west of the <a href="https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dnrp/nature-recreation/parks-recreation/king-county-parks/trails/leafline-trails/interurban-trail" title="https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dnrp/nature-recreation/parks-recreation/king-county-parks/trails/leafline-trails/interurban-trail" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Interurban Trail</a>. Shoreline Light Rail stations are each about 2 miles away. A bicycle rack is available outside the building. </li><li>Car parking: There is an asphalt parking lot that fits up to 20 cars. There is one ADA van accessible parking space with an access aisle. </li></ul>
