Community Roundtable

The Chinese Historical Society of America Museum is the oldest organization in the country dedicated to the interpretation, promotion, and preservation of the social, cultural and political history and contributions of the Chinese in America.CHSA promotes the contributions and legacy of the Chinese in America through its exhibitions, publications, and educational and public programs in the Museum and Learning Center. We are housed in the landmark Julia Morgan-designed Chinatown YWCA building at 965 Clay Street, San Francisco.

Join the CHSA Community for a roundtable discussion on topics that impact our community on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month!

Our goal is to keep the community united during the time apart through our online, roundtable discussions. Even though the CHSA museum may be physically closed, we want to keep the community united through conversation. We will be hosting online roundtables on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.Here is our upcoming topic schedule:<ul><li><a href="https://chsart0113.eventbrite.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">January 13th</a>: Miss Chinatown. A discussion about memories of the Miss Chinatown pageant in preparation for the Chinese New Year celebration.</li></ul>ParticipationThis is an interactive event. We encourage everyone to check that their microphones and cameras are working so that they can engage in the discussion. Space is limited to encourage participation among attendees.Discussion questions and more information about the Roundtable will be sent to all registered guests the day before the discussion. Registering late? Please let us know and we can send the questions directly to you!Registration &amp; Access Information To sign-up, select the date you are interested in attending (or multiple dates-we love to see returning faces). Access information, as well as potential discussion questions, will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours and 30 minutes prior to the start of the Roundtable. Roundtable TopicsIf you have a topic you would like to discuss for Roundtable, please contact CHSA with a brief description of the topic and 3-4 discussion questions.
