About this event

Do you have a "Graveyard of Ideas" that never made it to completion? We certainly do! I bet you do too! The purpose of this discussion is to remove any shame around it, understand why this happens, and how we can work around it!

This discussion will focus on:

  • Identifying and overcoming blocks to forward movement.
  • Tips and lifestyle hacks to increase productivity.
  • Building out incentives to help us make progress.
  • Skills for asking for community help/support around projects... and more!

This will be a meta-discussion as well, in the sense that we will be discussing ways to best take action on all of the resources, ideas, and information we have gathered so far for the community resiliency group.

This is the 6th session of an ongoing series that will take place monthly at Psanctum Thrift. The goal of this series is to build up resiliency in our Portland community. Around money, access to resources, emergency response, etc. Each session will be either a new topic or one that builds upon a previous topic.

Admission to this event is FREE, but please register here on Eventbrite to secure your spot!

Please reach out at contact@psanctum.org with any questions.

See you on Tuesday, 5/21!

Organized by

Psanctum is a non-profit psychedelics research, educational, and harm reduction organization located in Portland, Oregon.

Since forming in 2018, Psanctum has hosted a variety of speakers knowledgeable in the latest, cutting-edge advances in psychedelic science, history, anthropology, and spirituality. We organized the Gaian Mind Psychedelic Conference (since renamed Psanctum Psychedelic Conference) in 2019, and host the Psanctum Open Mic every Monday. Psanctum also curates the Psanctum Psychedelic Library, an online repository of academic articles, magazines, news stories, and more. In the fall of 2022, Psanctum was entrusted with digitizing the last thirty-four boxes of the Timothy Leary archive that were still in private collection.

In the beginning of 2022, Psanctum opened its first Psychedelic Education Center at The Haven PDX. Looking to expand our mission in the wake of legal Ketamine therapy and the legalization of psilocybin for therapy in Portland, we founded Psanctum Thrift, a nonprofit thrift store that exists to raise funds for psychedelic-assisted therapy.
