  • How to recognize an opioid overdose
  • All about naloxone (NARCAN®)
  • About Steve's Law (Minnesota's Good Samaritan and Naloxone Legislation)

You will also:

  • See a demo of naloxone administration
  • Receive your own naloxone kit

Who should attend?

Anyone in Dakota County who is interested in learning how to use naloxone to save a life is encouraged to attend. This training might be especially of interest for parents of young people, community members, and professionals working with adolescents on substance misuse in the field of: Education, Mental Health, Social Work, Healthcare, Chemical Health, Faith Community, Law Enforcement, and Violence Prevention. This training is open to the public.
