Join fellow Allerton enthusiasts and nature lovers for a Community Hike at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 5. Meet at the Buck Schroth Trailhead for a guided hike with Natural Areas Manager Alex Lourash around the prairie and along the Sangamon River.

The Buck Schroth (Red) Trail is a 3-mile loop with some inclines and small natural barriers. The hike is expected to last about an hour.

This hike is part of the Bluebell Festival: A Folk School Fundraiser, which also features our Plant Sale, The Market, live music, workshops, food, drinks, and more! All donations from the Festival will go to The Farms: An Allerton Folk School.

Free but registration is required. A $5/person donation is suggested upon arrival.
