We hope to drum on the plaza's grass. But, the Civic Space is reserved, if needed.

Kid friendly? Age limit?

Kids of all ages are welcome. But, they must be actively supervised. Please consider bringing ear protection for them.

Can I bring a cash or venmo donation?

Can I bring my own instrument?

Yes please bring your drums and percussion. (guitars, drum kits, tubas etc are not the intended instruments for this event. But, I might be willing to incorporate them in a small section if asked.)

Celebrating life & community through rhythm!

All are welcome! We will explore music making & rhythm in fun, inclusive and creative ways utilizing both improvisation & traditional West African rhythms. Lightly facilitated by Prasad Katz.

Outdoor Event (with indoor option if needed)

**Bring a chair or blanket and water. **

$10-20 suggested donation. (Noone will be turned away for lack of funds.)
No prior experience required.
Dancers & spectators welcome!
Bring your drum/percussion or play one of ours. Djembes available for sale too.
Children must be supervised by an adult.

I would like help unloading/loading drums (& setting up chairs if indoors). Please consider arriving early, to help, if available. (This is a wonderful way to donate/contribute if cash is limited)s
