Community Drum Circle, Hand Drumming Workshop & Drumming & Dance Troupe

Come out to Cuktural Saturdays at The family routreach center at Faith Vommunity Church. Spring 5 week session begins Saturday , April 37th

10:00 am -11:00 amFamily Drumming workshop and Drum and Dance Troupe practice . At the Drumming Workshop, Participants will learn about basic african hand drum, use drums, participate in call and response drum circle.

Pre-teen Drum & Dance Troupe- (9-12 yrs) Participants will learn hand drumming, Use a variety of drums and other instruments, write and recite poetry and rap, learn and perform new dances, use and create other props. Participants can choose perform at the Community Juneteenth Festival on Saturday June 15th.

11-00-12:00 Communit Drum Circle. Come out and participate in a family fun drum circle. There will be drums of all sizes, other instruments to play along with, scarves for dancing and waving, hola hoops and other props to dance along. Great family and community bonding experience. Weather permitting, we can be outside.
