Community CPR
Overview
CPR training is an essential lifesaving skill that equips individuals with the knowledge and ability to respond effectively in emergencies involving cardiac arrest. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, involves a combination of chest compressions and rescue breaths designed to maintain circulatory flow and oxygenation in the body until professional medical help arrives. This training is crucial not only for healthcare professionals but also for laypersons, as cardiac emergencies can occur anywhere and to anyone. By learning CPR, individuals gain the confidence to act swiftly and decisively, potentially doubling or tripling a victim’s chances of survival.
