About this event

Classes will take place in the Franklin City Hall Training Room, located on the Church St. side of the building, at the glass double-door entrance. Free parking is available in the Church St. parking lot, or the 2nd Ave. S. parking garage.

Franklin Firefighters who are paramedics and American Heart Association CPR Instructors will teach the AHA's Family & Friends curriculum.

This is a non-certification class for those who want to learn CPR only. It is not for those who need a CPR card to satisfy a job requirement. A participation card will be awarded to attendees, which those who babysit may find helpful.

Recommended for age 12 and older.

You will be kneeling, bending over, and physically exerting yourself, so please dress appropriately.

According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest.
